Pros (Why it is done):
Reliability: The original hydraulic lifters of the old model (with a thin thread of 18 mm) often fail, lose pressure or become clogged. Mechanical bolts are "eternal".
Engine stability:
The characteristic rattling during morning start-up disappears until the oil is added, as well as the "rattling" at idle if a hydraulic lifter is not working properly.
Easy repair:
Valve adjustment is done using the classic method (with a lift meter or indicator), which every Lada mechanic knows.
