Wire harness (installation) for contactless ignition, specific for Lada Niva 21213 (Taiga) with a 1.7 carburetor engine.

Switch and Delco Installation

1. To the Switch (the 7-pin large socket)
Pin 1 (Brown cable): Goes to the "K" terminal of the ignition coil (this is the signal/pulse).
Pin 2 (Black cable): This is the "Ground" (minus). Connects directly to the body of the car (usually through the bolt that holds the switch).
Pin 3 (Blue with white stripe): Goes to the middle pin of the Delco socket (signal from the Hall sensor).
Pin 4 (Blue with black stripe): This is the Power (+12V). Connects to the "15" terminal of the coil (comes from the ignition switch).
Pin 5 (Red cable): Goes to one end of the Delco socket (+12V power for the Hall sensor).
Pin 6 (Green or White cable): Goes to the other end of the Delco socket ("ground" for the Hall sensor).
Pin 7: Usually empty (only used on some models for the tachometer, but rarely in this harness).
2. To the Delco (the 3-pin small socket)
Red cable: Plus (+) for the sensor.
Blue with white stripe: Signal (0) - in the middle.
Green / White cable: Minus (-) for the sensor.
3. To the Ignition Coil (two separate cables)
Blue with black stripe: Connects to terminal "15" (Plus from the ignition).
Brown cable: Connects to terminal "K" (Impulse from the switch).
General check (Important!):
Terminal 15 of the coil: There should be two cables - one from the car's installation (blue / red) and one from the new harness (blue / black).
Terminal K on the coil: It should have the brown cable from the new harness (the tachometer cable also connects to it, if you have one).
